Dracula in Modern English: Chapter V

I just published another chapter of my modern English adaptation of Dracula. See Why Adapt Dracula? for the reason I decided to do this. Hope you all enjoy it.

1 Response to Dracula in Modern English: Chapter V

  1. How delightful! I remember the surprise of encountering “stranger in a strange land” in the Librivox recording. I am recommending this to Brazilians learning English as a second language. So much Victorian scare fiction gave rise to cruel laws in the Progressive era–laws then foisted onto neighboring countries. Understanding the propaganda behind the prose is a step toward repeal. Bravo for your heroic effort!
