Responding to Comments from “Nice People”

A brief response to a comment from “nice people”, who signs their comment “the rest of humanity”. Talk about an ego. I’ve edited out some nice ad hominem slurs that prove that “nice people” is not nice.

You’re a big free speech guy but you ban comments that insult you personally or that you disagree with.

No contradiction there. Say whatever you want on your own blog. Unlike so called “progressives”, I won’t try to have you deplatformed.

Just wondering your thoughts on a big MRA guy shooting a federal judge and whether all, or just some, of the MRA movement are violent … nazi…s?

Shooting a federal judge doesn’t make one a nazi, but it certainly violates the non aggression principle. Need I say it? No one should shoot another person except in self defense.

So someone claiming to be an MRA did something bad: how does that generalize to all MRAs? Most MRAs I’m familiar with (for example, Karen Straughan and Diana Davidson) are neither violent, nor nazis. The current authoritarian “progressive” book burners seem to have a lot more in common with nazis.

As I’ve said before, if you want me approve your comments, make an argument. I don’t care what you say on your own blog. If you want your comments published here, say something worthy of being published.

Nice’s comment was on The Outcome of Allowing Censorship.
