Censorship helps BitChute.com and Infowars

BitChuteUpdate: As of August 18, BitChute is 40% of the way to their funding target.

BitChute.com is raising funds to grow the site. The site keeps a little tracker in the top right corner. It just hit 32%. It had reached 30% only the day before, and 26% the day before that. It looks like by shutting down InfoWars, YouTube has given its biggest competitor a huge shot in the arm.

Meanwhile, the Infowars app, which allows access to Infowars from your iphone, has become the number 3 application on the iTunes store, and Alex Jones claims that Infowars has received 5.6 million new subscriptions since their YouTube channel and FaceBook pages were shut down by Google and Facebook.

Hopefully, gab.ai will survive attempts by Microsoft, who owns the Azure cloud computing platform that hosts gab’s service, to censor the Twitter competitor. Meanwhile, Facebook users are moving to minds.com.

I expect the mainstream media and the mainstream technology platforms will continue colluding to deplatform users they don’t like. If they keep it up, myspace may soon have some company.
