Installing a Waterpik PowerSpray Shower Head

I picked up a Waterpik PowerSpray shower head at Costco. They claim it’s easy to install, and it is. All you need is a wrench. I actually used a pair of pliers.

First, I took the old head off and cleaned up the loose plumbing tape from the threads on the pipe:

Next, I attached the fixture, first hand tightening, then tightening further with pliers (and not over tightening):

I then attached the ribbed end of the hose to the fixture, hand tightening only:

Next, I attached the other end to the shower head, again hand tightening:

The shower head fits in the bracket in the fixture like so:

Finally, I turned on the shower and made sure there were no leaks:

Very easy and took only about 15 minutes.
