Which Upcoming Movies Will Be Worth Paying to See on the Big Screen?

datesHere are the theatrical release dates of movies upcoming in the next year that I’m interested in so far. There are plenty of titles that I haven’t heard anything about that I may get excited about, but for now, these are the ones I know about. Out of them, only one, American Assassin, is not either a sequel or a remake. This is, I suppose, why Hollywood keeps making them: instant recognition.

While I would certainly agree that the blockbusters deserve bums on seats, were heading to Oscar season – mother! looks like it could be crazy good!

I haven’t heard much about the films targeting the Oscars. Usually, they aren’t films I see in the theater. I suppose as we get closer to the end of the year, we’ll start hearing more about them. So far, the films I’ve heard about from the TIFF (Toronto Intl Film Fest) don’t sound too interesting yet. What films are you looking forward to seeing?
