Review of “Exposed”

* D

This largely dull police drama has what appears to be a supernatural element that is intriguing, but that goes nowhere. The film is slow paced, the characters boring, and in the end, all is revealed to be a pointless waste. There is neither hero or heroine. All of the characters are broken.

Keanu Reeves plays a policeman trying to solve his partner’s murder. His is a broken uninspiring character. He has a tawdry affair with his partner’s widow, played by Mira Sorvino. Ana de Armas stars as a woman who seems to be involved in the murder, showing up in pictures taken by the dead man. Keanu searches for the killer as one by one, his suspects are murdered.
