Review of “A Walk Among the Tombstones”

* * C

Liam Neeson carries the weight of this slow paced, grim crime thriller, playing a tortured ex-cop turned PI who is hunting for the men who murdered a drug trafficker’s wife. The only women in this film are victims. A side plot has Neeson’s character becomes a mentor to a young black kid, well acted by Astro. The plot plods along toward its predictable outcome, with one decent twist thrown in.
